As much or as little as feels right!
You know what works for you – it might be getting stuck in to some gardening, some carpentry or just chatting with a decent brew on the go. You know ‘where’ suits you too.
All of our activities are available in the Dig In garden where we have no access for the general public. However, we also get invovled with other local groups and schools, taking our skills out to help them with their plots.
These projects have included:
-
Building a Great War trench in the grounds of a school
-
Working with people in a local dementia support centre
-
Creating a play garden for children at Lea Pre-School
-
Creating vertical planters with a trampoline club
-
Willow weaving with people with visual impairments
In addition we have had some great experiences taking part in well established Flower Shows in the region, including
-
Tatton RHS Flower Show
-
Harrogate Flower Show
-
Chorley Flower Show
