We are delighted to announce that Dig In has been awarded a three-year salary grant of £75,000 from the Veterans Foundation.
This generous funding will make a significant contribution towards our staff salary costs over the next three years, helping us to continue providing vital peer-led support for veterans and members of the Armed Forces community across Lancashire.
Our dedicated staff team, who are all members of the military community, delivers a wide range of therapeutic activities, including woodworking, horticulture and community projects, alongside day-to-day pastoral support. Their lived experience, skills and commitment enable us to provide a welcoming environment where veterans can improve their wellbeing, develop new skills, build confidence and reconnect with their community.
By contributing towards our staffing costs, this grant provides valuable stability for our organisation and helps ensure that we can continue delivering high-quality support to those who need it most.
We are incredibly grateful to the Veterans Foundation for their continued confidence in our work and their ongoing commitment to improving the lives of the Armed Forces community. Their investment will help us continue supporting veterans to overcome challenges, reduce isolation and build brighter futures.
Thank you, Veterans Foundation, for helping us continue to make a lasting difference to the lives of veterans and their families.
